As a Motorsports fan looking for an affordable way to feel the thrill of racing I am so glad for having found this place. I raced the full 2021 season there and had such a great time. The go karts are quick and put a smile on my face. The mechanics do an amazing job keeping the go karts in good shape. Some are slightly quicker than others but it evens out down the season as I literally raced them all. The track is fun and can be changed into many different configurations. The staff do a great job following safety rules and maintaining sportsmanship without taking the fun away. I have met lots of people there who have the same passion for racing with age that goes from 8 to 75! The atmosphere is great, family oriented. I am looking forward to the 2022 season.
Ladies, you have to try this! What a thrill !! After watching my husband and son for most of the season in Arrive and Drive they encouraged me to give it a whirl at a Friends and Family race day... nervous, but excited to see what all the hullabaloo was about, I was the sole female in my group of experienced drivers. Although my first ever attempt at driving these fast karts, I even made a successful pass ! (Nor did I come in last either lol!) This group of seasoned racers were courteous and shook my hand after the final and asked if I had fun, which I did! I can now really appreciate the thrill my son gets racing karts! Great staff, positive encouragement by all, in a competitive yet friendly environment. Thanks for a great afternoon of racing Canadian Mini Indy!
My boys (age 8 and 10) are huge Formula One fans and were so excited to join the Rookie Karting league. The staff are wonderful. The young men in the pits are so helpful and encouraging. This year has been a wonderful experience for the boys. They have loved every second in the karts.
My son started to race in the "arrive and drive" championship in the summer of 2018 and he loved it ...we like that we can be included in a championship and he can have a target to achieve. The karts are way faster than your regular "go-kart" tracks in GTA. The day at the track looks like a f1 weekend compressed in one morning , practice, quali, prerace and final race. There are a lot of kids of his age sharing the same passion... It is our main activity for the weekend ... staff is very nice and helpful to accomodate your skill .... strongly recommended
Have you ever wanted to race but feel like it’s too expensive? The arrive and drive program at Canadian Mini Indy is for you! Trevor and Danielle run a fantastic and affordable series with fast, responsive, well maintained karts. You’ll be sure to have fun every time you come out. The competition is fantastic and in between sessions hang out with fellow minded people and talk racing. There’s multiple schedules to race on making it easy to find one that works for your schedule. Do yourself a favor and sign up, you won’t regret it.
Super organized, well trained staff, even during the pandemic as they made sure you remained safe during time spent. Super fun Go-Karting experience, make sure to join the rookie series as you would not regret it. Being right near the airport, you got to enjoy the view of planes flying low right above your head. Don't forget to bring sunscreen!
My son started the arrive and drive program here over the summer and really loved it. Lots of times to come practice and race on the weekdays and weekends. They provide you with everything you need, you just need to show up and have fun!
f you don't golf (or even if you do), you have to try go kart racing here at the Mini Indy series. I have been a committed member for 10 years. This is an extremely well run, strictly supervised and well maintained club. I have made some great friendships - men and women from St Catharines to Toronto come out to get the adrenaline rush. Although the competition is fierce, the fun level is 10 out of 10. It's real racing, not a kiddie fun ride. I'm signed up for 2020.
It was the best experience for my son this summer! He 14 years old, an introverted introvert who speaks fluent' Car and Driver', but had minimal "real" karting experience. His words to me after 20 minutes of Camp... "mom I think I have found my people" :) The head staff hooked us up with the appropriate gear that we could afford and had options to rent the rest! Paying attention to detail walking the fine line between what gear is mandatory vs what is nice to have, at what I think was affordable prices. AMAZING!! Especially for folks just trying it out! A special shout out to the young women and gentleman on staff! They were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about the subject matter and extremely friendly. The Instructors of the program focused on giving critics of performance in a professional manner , always gearing towards the positive. The organization had exceeded my expectations in all the transactions I have had with them to date. The camp was so well done and beneficial we have signed my son up for Another session in August! The smile on my kids face is worth every single penny.
Best place and great value for your dollar, Everyone from young kids to adults that wish to try out go-kart racing, this is the one place. Best fleet of racing go-karts available anywhere. Knowledgeable and professional staff. If you want to race go karts this is the place.
If you have ever thought about racing in any capacity, this is a great place to go beyond thinking and start doing. The karts are fast and the speed challenges what you think should be easy. The adrenalin at the end of a first race shows you what is reality and what you can start to accomplish with practice and racing against new and experienced karters. This was my first season racing and I thought it would be so easy, but I was wrong! These karts are not your family weekend puttering around the track type, but really the type that put you in a mind process to advance to the next level if you are so inclined. Just remember that Lewis Hamilton started out in karting and it gives you a better appreciation for the work involved to race these vehicles. I loved the fun and reasonable cost as well as the walkaway factor that is part of the membership and race day fees. You don't have to buy a kart, maintain it or put any fuel in it, just arrive with appropriate race gear and go. Stop thinking about this, do it!!
Well I've been racing here since 2008. Canadian mini indy is by far the beat place for karting. Nice big track with multiple configurations to keep things interesting. A great fleet of karts. Top notch staff on track or in the pits to keep the day going smooth. Doesnt matter your skill level it's fun for all. There is always someone willing to help. It's great fun for all ages. Danielle and Trevor definitely have a well oiled machine at the Canadian mini indy. Thanks for another great season.
Great club to join if you are looking to race in your own kart or be part of the arrive-and-drive rookie series. I started doing arrive-and-drive back in 2018 and switched to race on my own kart the year after. The people are friendly and the environment is great. Everyone is welcome to join the club and race with a great variety of drivers. See you at the track!!
a year ago We accidentally found Canadian Mini Indy this summer, and are so glad we did. My son loves the racing, and the friends he's found there. The regular season races and the trophy race events are so much family fun. As parents we have loved how organized, and supportive the staff are. How well maintained the carts are, and how much of a community there is at the track. I recommend Canadian Mini Indy to everyone who will listen. I see many years of racing in our family's future.
My son and I have been coming to The Canadian Mini Indy for the Rookie Series for the past 2 seasons and have had a great time. We had no karting experience and all the staff made it very easy to jump right in and have a great time. If you are a bit nervous about the idea of coming of to race all I can say is come out and give it a try, its a great place to come out and meet some people and just have a good time.
Really good place to do competitive racing! With European go-karts that go 80 k/ph, it’s really fun. Staff is really nice and the system is setup nicely.
We had the pleasure of enrolling our two grandson's in the 2 Day Race Experience program. They are ages 11 & 13 and had an amazing time. The staff and facilities are top notch and the karts are fast. They learned a lot about kart racing. Excellent safety instructions and explanation of proper procedure etc. before going near the track. All and all a great experience and we highly recommend Canadian Mini Indy.
I joined this year and I've had one of the best experiences of my life. Driving creates a family attitude, we want each other to succeed and we always have smiles on our faces in between heats. Anyone thinking of doing it, register. It's so much fun. Any shape size age, it doesn't matter. Everyone is welcome!
Easily one of the best competitive karting outfits in Southern Ontario. Having raced multiple events, including a 6 hour enduro here, I feel that their organizational ability, prioritization of safety, marshalling and attention to the maintenance of both karts and facilities is exemplary. WELL worth the drive from the GTA.
Think you're a great driver? Are you sure it's not just your car doing all the work?? Come out and let's see what you've got! The staff and management are true pros who will give you everything you need to have a blast every time. You won't find a better bang for for buck anywhere else. You're always saying to your friends" I could do that, easy". Well... bring it, I'll be waiting.
